A resource created for families by families

As a child who had a similar presentation to many of my clients, I know firsthand the complicated manifestations of living out of congruence with normative expectations and institutions. I began this work not as a career or a study of interest, but out of love and joy in interacting with people I observed on a complex and unconventional path.

As I sought out non-normative spaces and communities, I made it a personal priority to spend time in these spaces void of any objective other than joy and love. This took me to many diverse environments, where I found myself valued and requested because of my lack of agenda and my separation from outcome. I built my skillset with families from my South Seattle community, bedside with cancer patients, in special education classrooms, on wrestling mats with Afghan immigrants, and on road trips with families with PDA children.

It was not my plan to create a business; the way I show up is authentic, and the work I do is an outgrowth of the families that are living this distinct experience and have explicitly asked for my support. In 2023, I left my career as a welder and sat down with the few starting families that I had the honor of learning from and working with. Together, we developed what I now offer more broadly to other families sharing similar experiences.

What I deliver is a first-hand perspective for the experiences of a non-normative path (make it two sentences) paired with a successful track record of providing boots on the ground support for over 20 families on similar paths in myriad environments.
